Trees convert sunlight into energy to sustain themselves. As humans cannot directly experience what the trees feel, Sakamoto transforms the bioelectricity produced by the trees into sounds, which humans can experience. Sensors developed especially for this project were placed in trees around the world to understand the effect of the rotations and revolutions of the Earth on trees globally.
